Who is Leroy Milton?

I am 24 year-old with the dreams of the world on my shoulders. I want to achieve great things. Great things, however, are completely subjective. For example, one of my ‘great’ things is to run a successful blog. Another is to be a successful motivational speaker. Also, I’m completing a criminology degree in University. In all honesty, I don’t know what I’m doing there. I have no desire to pursue anything of that nature. But at this point, leaving school would be a grand waste of three years.

What Do I Intend To Offer?

I’m not a professional or expert in anything. However, I’ve been through a lot in my life. Again, I suppose this is all subjective. You could have been through worse. But really, in the end, problems are problems. I’m ranting on this for too long.

What do I intend to offer? I want to open your mind to new ideas. Ideas that were introduced to me and that have helped me through a compendium of situations. What I can offer is my opinions and ideas, which in the past, have worked very well. My chief aim is to impact, help and influence someone in a positive way. I feel like if I have done that, the positivity will snowball to the next person.

Who are the most influential people in your life?

A friend once told me that “you are made up of the four people that are closest to you and the last three books you’ve read.” I’d have to agree with that.

I enjoy novels/blogs/videos from James Altucher, Brendon Burchard, Elliot Hulse and Tim Ferriss. I’ve read a lot of novels, but only a few novelists have really jumped out at me. I want to be surrounded with more influential people, so if you have any suggestions, I’m open to all of them.

Who is Steven Farquharson?

I’ve made pretty much every mistake a human being can make, several times. I’ve learned every lesson the hardest way possible. But, I have always tried to grow and change for the better. Hopefully one day I will become a person that I can be completely proud of. Until then, I will continue on my journey. In the process I hope to lift up those around me.

The History.

When I was seven years old I was diagnosed with a blood disorder, I.T.P.From that point on I have always had a different perspective on life. I was forced to face big questions at a young age.I would wonder how long I’d be alive, I’d wonder if my life even had meaning. I spent a lot of time in and out of hospitals.

The experiences I had at such a young age affected me deeply. It wasn’t all bad though. I was chosen to be a recipient from the “Make a wish Foundation” and had many great experiences because of that. I spoke at a conference about my troubles and my mind state towards my disorder. I gave advice to other kids who also had I.T.P. and I guess that was my first experience helping others in this way. At the age of about fourteen I went into remission and haven’t relapsed since.

The best way to get to know me and the things that have shaped me is to read my articles.

Final Message to the Readers?

I put my soul into everything I write, sometimes it is sappy, sometimes it is helpful, but you can always be sure that it is from the heart. I will be posting every Sunday so come and check it out!
